Biography
Ken Chubb is a story and script editor for film and television projects, working with writers across Canada and in the USA. He often works with established writers, but is also noted for his work as an outstanding developer of new and emerging writing talent.
He was story editor for the successful teen werewolf feature film, Ginger Snaps, written by Karen Walton, and for its Sequel and Prequel. He has story edited three MOW’s for CTV: the Gemini nominated, Hunt for Justice: the Louise Arbour Story, Agent of Influence starring Christopher Plummer, and Crazy Canucks. For CBC he has story edited two mini-series: H2O written by Paul Gross and John Krizanc and Dragon Boys written by Ian Weir. Ken was also Executive Story Editor for Jozi-H, a 13 x 1 hour medical drama series shot in Johannesburg and broadcast on CBC and SABC-3. He was Story Consultant for the first season of Arctic Air, produced by Omni Films for CBC, that aired in early 2012.
Other films he has worked on as story editor or story consultant include Claude Jutra award winner, Keith Behrman’s, Genie-nominated Flower & Garnet, Turning Paige (nominated for four Genies), The Nature of Nicholas, Vincenzo Natali’s feature, Nothing, and more recently Empire of Dirt and Hold Fast.
